Born and brought up in Mumbai (formerly called Bombay), India - the city with more hustle and bustle than the world's New Yorks, Los Angeles' and Londons.
Mumbai = Mumbaa Ai or Mother Mumba, a Goddess.
The beautiful mountainous land of Garhwal Himalaya Mountains in the Uttarakhand State
of India are captivating for reasons at great variance with those for one liking Mumbai.
The Garhwal Himalayas are serene, scenic, captivating, snow-capped, Valley of Flowers' filled, blessed by the beautiful snow-capped sites of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Jamnotri.
Visit the great city of Mumbai for many a good story idea.
Sitting on the shores of the Arabian Sea in front of the Air India building in Mumbai, watching the sea and the skyline is really a great experience.

This site is home to the first ever Garhwali song on the Internet -
Garhwali music is one of my favourites. I have been keen on getting atleast 1 good song
from the Uttarakhand Hills on my web page. I have succeeded in getting the song, `Nandu
Teru Daadu Kahan Jayun Cha' - `Nandu, where is your elder brother ?'. Sung by
Devraj Rangeela and Rekha Uniyal, the song depicts a scene from a village in Uttarakhand, India. I have
had the pleasure and privilege of having spent quite some time with Rekha Didi in Mumbai
when she stayed in our building. Her sweet voice as Nandu lends its own melody and the
perfect match to Devraj's singing.
The idea of this exercise is to make a start in putting the Indian Garhwali Music on the
Internet map of the World. This song was put on the Internet on Republic Day January 26, 1999.
It is, to the best of my knowledge, the first Garhwali song on the Internet.

Sometimes, when we reach a particular web page hoping for information on a topic and
only find a Link to another Web Site that might contain that information, we do, on
occasion, get a bit flustered. However, we do need to keep in mind that the mere link
itself might help quite a new breed of Internet users who are yet to become accustomed to
a 100 % successful search.
The links here best reflect personal tastes and likes.

Dev Anand has been the Gregory Peck of the Indian film industry. With a toss-and-throw style of
speech, a gait that resembles the leaning tower of Pisa, and the ubiquitous puff of hair turned
upwards on his forehead, he has captivated the hearts of millions of Indian film viewers,
including being my biggest favourite Movie Star in the World.
Gregory Peck has admitted to emulating and even copying Dev Anand.
